APPens is an mobile platform designed to help small cities become smart cities. The reach of the app inludes the city, its metropolitan area, as well as its neighboring communities. It can be easily tuned to include other areas as well. The application responds to real time events and gives feed back to citizens regarding mobility, transportation, city services, etc. as well as providing social participation features.
